Scale of Universe - Interactive Scale of the Universe Tool

Forgot about this, came across it a bit ago. Now noticing that they didn’t include the largest known thing in the universe: the Great Sloan Wall, measuring 1.37 billion light years across: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloan_Great_Wall

Planck unveils the Universe - UK Space Agency
"The Planck space satellite – ESA’s mission to study the early Universe - has delivered its first image of the entire sky. By looking at microwave radiation, it not only provides new insight into the way stars and galaxies form, but also tells us how the Universe itself came to life after the Big Bang.
This single image captures both our own cosmic backyard – the Milky Way galaxy that we live in – but also the subtle imprint of the Big Bang from which the whole Universe emerged.
The dust throughout the Galaxy is shown in blue, while hot gas can be seen as red regions across the centre of the image. In the background, the mottled yellow features are relic radiation, called the Cosmic Microwave Background, which contains information about the earliest stages of the Universe.”

Every Black Hole Contains Another Universe?

"And our universe may sit in another universe’s black hole, equations predict. Like part of a cosmic Russian doll, our universe may be nested inside a black hole that is itself part of a larger universe. In turn, all the black holes found so far in our universe—from the microscopic to the supermassive—may be doorways into alternate realities.”

Really gorgeous video visualization of our known universe (from Earth to the outer edges of mapping the Big Bang)
